Code Vein Closed Network Test
Blade Bearer Boss with Greatsword & Mia as teammate.

I call this the "But I rolled that! Frame rate tdujvuyldezxly!!!" boss fight.

The boss fight itself isn't very difficult. Its easy to learn her patterns and punish so within one day of running this I already started to feel a bit "Zzzz".

The most important thing I want to say about this boss is:
Lady, how do you expect me to learn those attack patterns with all that swaying?
Swaying at like, 30fps so how the hell must I focus? (Not complaining. Sway more plz. But just sway at a solid 60fps, I beg you)

Anyway. I ended up being really busy the weekend of this beta so this was the only other thing I was able to record. The second half went sloppy but its whatever, I guess.

Had a Solo kill but I threw it out the window because it legit wasn't worth watching and I wanted to show something with a teammate.
Same things I said during GE3 beta? You betcha!

I talked about what I think about this game in another video so I won't repeat the same stuff I said there.

I find the gameplay at its most simplest level to be a bit sleep inducing. I have had insomnia for the past 8 years and this game was making me a little sleepy.

The problem is that I'm hyperactive and the game wants me to sit still. It doesn't want me to use my imagination and it demotivates me from trying. Like "Hey! I'm tired of rolling! I'm gonna learn the parry timing on this-- No. Why would I do that. Rolling is easier and lets me deal guaranteed damage after. So yeah, let's roll."

Don't get me wrong though, i think this is a good game and I like it.

I'll probably buy it too, its just that it doesn't interest me to the point where I would want to get good at it the way God Eater 3 does. That's purely from a gameplay perspective and from the small 15 hours I played in the incomplete beta version of the game.

The other thing is that I do not find this game exciting to watch, so I'm not feeling too up to making videos for it in the future.

That might change when I play the full game, but I say this is because I fail to see a high skill ceiling in this game. A Perfect Clear in this would be to successfully roll through every attack and parry that one weird attack while not taking random risks. Something that you should already be doing in the first place. Which is essentially "GJ you can now play Rhythm Games."

If you had to do a Lv1 Run Perfect Clear it would then be "GJ you can now play Rhythms Games very well." :V

But hey, if I had to pick between Code Vein and the new SAO game? This.
This one has parts that are boring like the core gameplay, but that new SAO game just looks outright boring.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have important God Eater 3 videos to make (not memes)
