Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a first-person shooter game co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the twenty-second installment of the Call of Duty series and is the eighth main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (2024). Set in 2035, Black Ops 7's story—playable in single-player or co-op—will follow a team of agents led by David Mason in the aftermath of Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012). As with previous Call of Duty titles, the game will also include a multiplayer component and the cooperative round-based Zombies mode.
Development on Black Ops 7 took place concurrently with the production of Black Ops 6, with both titles being green-lit at the same time. Marketing for the title began in June 2025 with the release of a cinematic trailer during the 2025 Xbox Games Showcase event; a full reveal debuted on August 19, at Gamescom. Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release on November 14, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7—like its predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (2024)—will be a first-person shooter. Depending on the game mode selected, players use near-future military equipment, such as weapons, "field upgrades", and "scorestreaks", to combat AI opponents, other human players, or undead creatures. Players can traverse a level/map omnidirectionally, and can perform "wall jumps" off of select walls;[3] in a change from Black Ops 6, the "Tactical Sprint" movement option—a limited-duration boost of speed allowing faster movement than the standard sprint—has been removed from the core movement, but is accessible as an optional in-game perk.
Black Ops 7 features three primary game modes: a single-player/co-op campaign, a multiplayer component and the cooperative round-based Zombies mode. Playable with up to four players, the campaign sees players take control of a JSOC unit led by David "Section" Mason. The campaign features 11 total missions; completing all missions unlocks access to the "Endgame" activity, which puts up to 32 players in the city of Avalon and tasks them with completing a series of objectives within a strict time limit. Players can bring a customized loadout with them into Endgame, but if they die, they lose access to their gear. In addition, for the first time in the franchise, the campaign features shared progression with the multiplayer and Zombies modes, allowing players to gain experience points (XP) and level up their global ranks, weapons, and seasonal battle passes.
The multiplayer component puts, in most cases, two teams of six (6v6) against each other across 16 maps; the objective-based "Skirmish" mode allows for 20v20 combat on two dedicated maps. Players have access to 30 customizable loadout weapons; once players reach a weapon's maximum level, they can "Prestige" said weapon, which will unlock a series of cosmetic items, such as weapon camos and charms, but re-lock all available attachments. New to Black Ops 7's multiplayer is the "Overclock" upgrade system, which grants additional abilities to a player's selection of lethal and tactical equipment, scorestreaks, and field upgrades. In Zombies, one to four players fight endless hordes of the undead across a large-scale map, which can be traversed using a "Wonder Vehicle"; the mode will also include a selection of smaller-scale "survival maps" and a new iteration of the top-down "Dead Ops Arcade" game mode.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a 2019 fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the eleventh main installment in the Mortal Kombat franchise and a sequel to Mortal Kombat X (2015). The game was announced at The Game Awards 2018 and was released in North America and Europe on April 23, 2019, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One—with the exception of Europes Switch version which was released on May 10, 2019. It was released on Stadia on November 19, 2019.
Upon release, the console versions of Mortal Kombat 11 received generally favorable reviews, which praised the gameplay, story, graphics, and improved netcode, but it received criticism for the presence of microtransactions and over-reliance on grinding. An expansion was released on May 26, 2020, entitled Aftermath. It includes an additional story mode, three new characters, new stages, and the return of stage fatalities and the friendship finishing move. An enhanced version of the game containing all downloadable content up to that point, titled Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, was released for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 17, 2020. A sequel, and series reboot, Mortal Kombat 1, was released on September 19, 2023. Resident Evil Requiem[a] is an upcoming survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. It is the ninth main Resident Evil game, following Resident Evil Village (2021). It features a new protagonist, FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft, who investigates the remains of Raccoon City with the help of the federal agent Leon S. Kennedy.
Gameplay alternates between Grace and Leon. Graces missions continue the first-person survival horror of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (2017) and Resident Evil Village as she evades monsters inside a hotel. Leons missions are action-oriented, similar to games such as Resident Evil 4 (2005), as he battles zombies from a third-person perspective.
Requiem was directed by Koshi Nakanishi, the director of Resident Evil 7. It was conceived as an open-world online multiplayer game, but was restarted as a more conventional single-player Resident Evil game in 2021. Requiem was developed with the RE Engine and was the first Resident Evil game designed for ninth-generation consoles. It marked Leons first major appearance since Resident Evil 6 (2012), and he was redesigned to appear older.
Resident Evil Requiem was announced in July 2024 and unveiled at Summer Game Fest in June 2025. It is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on February 27, 2026.
