Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is a first-person shooter game co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software and published by Activision. It is the twenty-second installment of the Call of Duty series and is the eighth main entry in the Black Ops sub-series, following Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (2024). Set in 2035, Black Ops 7's story—playable in single-player or co-op—will follow a team of agents led by David Mason in the aftermath of Call of Duty: Black Ops II (2012). As with previous Call of Duty titles, the game will also include a multiplayer component and the cooperative round-based Zombies mode.
Development on Black Ops 7 took place concurrently with the production of Black Ops 6, with both titles being green-lit at the same time. Marketing for the title began in June 2025 with the release of a cinematic trailer during the 2025 Xbox Games Showcase event; a full reveal debuted on August 19, at Gamescom. Black Ops 7 is scheduled for release on November 14, 2025, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7—like its predecessor, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 (2024)—will be a first-person shooter. Depending on the game mode selected, players use near-future military equipment, such as weapons, "field upgrades", and "scorestreaks", to combat AI opponents, other human players, or undead creatures. Players can traverse a level/map omnidirectionally, and can perform "wall jumps" off of select walls;[3] in a change from Black Ops 6, the "Tactical Sprint" movement option—a limited-duration boost of speed allowing faster movement than the standard sprint—has been removed from the core movement, but is accessible as an optional in-game perk.
Black Ops 7 features three primary game modes: a single-player/co-op campaign, a multiplayer component and the cooperative round-based Zombies mode. Playable with up to four players, the campaign sees players take control of a JSOC unit led by David "Section" Mason. The campaign features 11 total missions; completing all missions unlocks access to the "Endgame" activity, which puts up to 32 players in the city of Avalon and tasks them with completing a series of objectives within a strict time limit. Players can bring a customized loadout with them into Endgame, but if they die, they lose access to their gear. In addition, for the first time in the franchise, the campaign features shared progression with the multiplayer and Zombies modes, allowing players to gain experience points (XP) and level up their global ranks, weapons, and seasonal battle passes.
The multiplayer component puts, in most cases, two teams of six (6v6) against each other across 16 maps; the objective-based "Skirmish" mode allows for 20v20 combat on two dedicated maps. Players have access to 30 customizable loadout weapons; once players reach a weapon's maximum level, they can "Prestige" said weapon, which will unlock a series of cosmetic items, such as weapon camos and charms, but re-lock all available attachments. New to Black Ops 7's multiplayer is the "Overclock" upgrade system, which grants additional abilities to a player's selection of lethal and tactical equipment, scorestreaks, and field upgrades. In Zombies, one to four players fight endless hordes of the undead across a large-scale map, which can be traversed using a "Wonder Vehicle"; the mode will also include a selection of smaller-scale "survival maps" and a new iteration of the top-down "Dead Ops Arcade" game mode.

On February 3, 2025, Electronic Arts announced an initiative titled Battlefield Labs, a closed-access worldwide playtest for an upcoming installment in the Battlefield series. The reveal confirmed that the game was being developed by DICE, Ripple Effect Studios (formerly DICE LA), Criterion Games and Motive Studios under the collective branding of Battlefield Studios. Before its closure in 2024, Ridgeline Games was also involved in the development, focusing on the single-player campaign. The announcement video featured gameplay from a pre-alpha build of Battlefield 6 and also confirmed the games modern warfare setting. By March 2025, early gameplay footage from Battlefield Labs had been leaked online by playtesters.
On July 19, 2025, the games title was leaked early when Electronic Arts sent packages to influencers featuring the Battlefield 6 logo. On July 21, Battlefield Studios announced that the upcoming title would have an open beta prior to its official release.
The game was officially revealed as Battlefield 6 on July 22, 2025, when Electronic Arts announced the premiere date for the official reveal trailer, which was released on July 24, 2025.
On July 23, 2025, an additional teaser was published on the Battlefield social media pages. The teaser indicated that the central conflict, set in 2027, would involve a fractured NATO and a private military company named Pax Armata.
On July 31, 2025, an overhauled look at the Portal map creation tools introduced in Battlefield 2042 was showcased, including a new editor powered by the Godot engine.
Delta Force, formerly Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is a free-to-play first-person tactical shooter video game developed and published by TiMi Studio Group and Garena respectively for Windows PC, iOS and Android devices, with plans to release the game for home consoles in the near future. It is part of the computer FPS Delta Force series, previously developed and published by NovaLogic. The group also develops the game under its development division TiMi-J3, known for developing Call of Duty: Mobile.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is an upcoming first-person shooter game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the twenty-third installment in the Call of Duty series and the fourth entry in the rebooted Modern Warfare sub-series, following Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023). It is set to be released on October 23, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be a first-person shooter video game. It will comprise three main game modes: a single-player campaign mode; a competitive multiplayer component; and the extraction shooter mode DMZ, returning from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (2022).[3] Modern Warfare 4s campaign will have a focus on a war between North and South Korea. In addition to Korea, missions will also take place in various locations such as New York, Paris, and Mumbai.
The multiplayer mode is set to feature 12 core 6v6 maps at launch, accompanied by returning game modes such as Gunfight with a dedicated map pool, and Big War featuring large-scale maps. A new map, Kill Block, features dynamic layouts that constantly change as the match progresses, with over 500 different possible configurations. One of the major changes to the gameplay system is the removal of hipfire bloom, a mechanic that penalizes players by reducing accuracy of shots when firing their weapons from the hip. Updates to the movement system include the ability to hang and shimmy along edges and pipes.
In DMZ, 20 squads of up to three players deploy into a large-scale map, dubbed the exclusion zone, where they scavenge for loot and complete objectives before attempting to exfiltrate. Players can pursue story missions, which are a set of narrative-focused tasks; Dynamic Operations, which are randomly-generated objectives that differ each match; or simply freely roam the map. While exploring, players can encounter and fight against hostile NPCs as well as other players. Killing other players results in the players notoriety level increasing, marking their presence on the map for other players to find. A new feature in DMZ is the Forward Operating Base (FOB), an in-game hub where players prepare their gear before deployment, including setting up their loadouts, crafting items and interacting with vendors. Players can also gain permanent progression for their Operators via individual trait trees, granting skills and bonuses that cater to specific play styles. Additionally, the playable map features dynamic weather effects, such as rain and snow, which intensify as the match progresses.
