This session at COP30 brings together IRCAI, CIAAM, MetAmazonia and Glocha to launch the Amazonia AI Observatory, an open, AI-enabled and bias-aware platform designed to integrate news, scientific research, policies, education resources and innovation ecosystem data related to the Amazon. As the foundational “Step Zero” for a global SDG 13 Observatory, the initiative demonstrates how inclusive, multistakeholder collaboration can build trustworthy climate intelligence. The Amazonia AI Observatory also contributes directly to the Global Mutirão, empowering communities—especially youth—to take part in data-driven climate action.
