Although Cococlectic doesn’t make chocolate, they only feature American Chocolate Makers in their monthly craft chocolate subscription boxes so they are an appropriate choice for July 4, Independence Day.
This is an unboxing video of their featured bars for the month, which they graciously sent me. (required disclosure #ad, although all perspective and comments are my own).
All arrived in perfect condition, very well packaged and even adorned with a beautiful wax seal.
I love tasting several bars of different origins from the same maker, it allows me to get a sense of what to expect from flavor development and texture. Although it appears from looking at the Cococlectic site that not all months feature only one chocolate maker. If I didn't live so close to so many fantastic sources of craft chocolate, I would consider a service like this, just to make sure I always had a supply of craft chocolate, and for the opportunity to try chocolate from new craft makers.
Thank you Cococlectic! Well done!
