Australian economist Alan Moran says that the UN's attempts to mitigate the non problem of 'global warming' through CO2 abatement are likely to lead to centralized control and economic disaster.
Editor of the popular book, Climate Change: The Facts, Moran was a speaker at the 10th Annual Conference on Climate Change hosted by the Heartland Institute (Washington DC, June 11-12, 2015). "The cost could be quite colossal. Just think in terms of totally scrapping all our different power stations - finding ways of producing steel without using coal; finding ways of producing plastics; what will we do about airlines? These are profound questions that really aren't answered at all - by the IPCC or the other warmest literature." Moran, PhD, economics, concludes: "Global warming may not be happening. If it is happening it is not very severe and to try do do something about it will be extremely expensive. It will mean a total revolution of the world's economy and it will mean almost a centralized control over the world's economy which is a) unpalatable and b) likely to lead to an economic disaster." yoryevrah
