I changed the background for the version that aired, although I also like this one. Just a bit much for the political show that Crossfire was. I meant to use this background on another project in some way, but I never did!
I did really like this and the music I had picked out. But the tunnel background just wasn't conservative enough for this particular show. So I ditched this bg, never to be used again, and did a toned-down background over which I keyed the same original elements.
This used a LOT of passes on tape, creating a lot of tape noise. This was the most ambitious project technically I had attempted to this point. TBS Control B before color-framing position errors were conquered, and sometimes tape machines were just rolled manually. Really old-style production, I mean manually rolling old 2" quad videotape machines, and not knowing that color-framing was messing up all my careful mathematical ADO alignments. But it aired and the CNN gang liked it. (I did this just because I thought they needed it; I was still with TBS for this).
Again, this never aired like this - I changed the background to something more muted and different. Still, I kinda liked the life this had in it. :)
