n this updated CNC woodworking tutorial, I show you a better, faster, and foolproof way to install magnets in CNC-carved projects like cribbage boards. In my previous video, I used blue tape to ensure the polarities matched so magnets would attract instead of repel. This time, I’m using super strong neodymium magnets paired with steel blanks to completely eliminate polarity issues!

In some cases it may be useful to use my Blue Tape Method, if interested in that you should check out that video - when you can't find strong enough magnets to use a magnet and steel plate combination.
