Mistake #3: We forgot to slow the machine down. 😬

The CNC was still set for slab flattening speeds, not delicate inlay work. At 720 inches per minute, it was absolutely flying. Add a weak glue bond into the mix, and suddenly, we were playing duck and cover while pieces launched across the shop.

The crazy part? That mistake exposed another mistake we didn't even know existed.
