The green slider moves along the slide consisting of the brown bar and the blue square thread screw.
The yellow half nut has rotary joint with the brown bar.
The red spring pushes the half nut towards the screw.
Turn the screw to move the slider slowly.
Squeeze the yellow lever of the half nut to prevent it from contacting the screw and push the slider directly for quick movement.
When the green half-nut is in the up position, the screw can move freely. When the green half-nut is in down position, the screw operates as in a normal screw-nut drive. In forward motion of the screw, the contact force between the nut and screw presses the nut onto the screw.
