Welcome to Clue 2 of the Mohair Mobile Shawl! This week features the main color marled with all five CC’s for fluffy mohair marled stripes.
SECTION 3 - Marled Garter Stitch
1:51 Row 1 begins by picking up 3 I-cord sts located at the center point of the Triangle 1 I-cord BO.
2:04 Always hold 1 strand of your fingering weight wool MC together with 1 strand of lace weight mohair silk for the CC's.
2:39 Row 1 (RS): Using 1 strand MC held together with 1 strand CC1, pick up and k3 sts from I-cord center point of Triangle 1.
3:39 Pick up and k15 sts from the I-cord BO edge of Triangle 1.
5:58 Pick up and k15 sts from the I-cord CO edge of Triangle 2.
8:21 Pick up and k31 sts from the I-cord BO edge of Triangle 3.
12:40 Pick up and k15 sts from the I-cord CO edge of Triangle 4.
13:52 Pick up and k15 sts from the I-cord BO edge of Triangle 11.
16:30 There should be 232 total sts. Turn to work WS.
16:59 Row 2 (WS): Pick up and k3 sts from the I-cord center point of Triangle 11,
17:59 k229, sl3 wyif.
19:13 Row 3 (RS): K to last 3 sts, sl3 wyif.
