I made the glitch twice after playing for about 20 minutes, this was the second one. I got really lucky with that lap 2 glitch. This run was very good other than that lap 3 wall bounce. Perhaps this would have been 1:39 if I got a good one, oh well.

This is the first time I've used Auto TT recorder on my new PC and I forgot to change some settings. That's why the audio editing at the start is awkward.

Best split lap 1 and best pace entering lap 3. I was quite nervous and seriously could not hold it together and so before the glitch lap 3, I had crumbled apart. I got lucky and made the lap 3 glitch with a great recovery, so I'm glad I at least closed out the run nicely.

This run was european record pace, and finished just 228ms behind. Perhaps I'll go for ER, but I don't know. I'm glad that on my best pace I at least finished the run and it wasn't too ugly.

Just beat a nearly 5 year old PB. Feeling good.

I've had a long history with this track. I This was the first track that I really grinded. I started back in 2016, and slowly made my way up the rankings. On July 9, 2020, I got a PB of 32.508 (european record and 4th worldwide at the time), and was extremely happy with the run. For nearly 5 years, I never tried to improve it. It ended up remaining my PB for over half of my MKW career, which is really weird to think about.

Recently, I decided that enough time had passed, and I decided to make a return to WGM. I think I played this for a bit over a week. I quickly realised that I had potential for a 32.0 or even a 31, but my main goal was to get a 32.2. I do not have much to say about the journey I had to improve here, but it culminated in a nearly 0.3 second improvement. As much as it would be nice to be 6th instead of 7th, I am satisfied with this run.

Honestly, I don't know how I even did this. I fluked this run on only my 2nd chance at a 3/3 ultra run. This is my 10th WR in this game, and my 6th WR on this track. And now I'm a multi WR holder again! Oh, and this is also the first Dry Bowser WR in the game's history, so that's cool.

Q&A again, for the questions that people will ask:

Q: Why Dry Bowser on Phantom?
A: Phantom is the easiest vehicle to do this glitch on. I used Dry Bowser because the player Tiles created a new, better alignment ghost that uses him, so I decided to use him too.

Q: Will this record ever be improved?
A: I almost always get predictions wrong, but this run will probably not be beat for a very, very long time. I'm not going to try to beat it.

Q: Didn't you say that you'd never go for 3/3?
A: Yes, but as I just said, I'm always wrong about everything.

The outside drift revolution only keeps going. This ultra was discovered in 2021, but nobody did it until now. It's one of the hardest, and I'm very proud for being the one who finally did it. I started going for this 8 days ago but I had some practice beforehand.

Shoutout to @117james for being the first person to make significant progress on this ultra. He's come very close many times and he also helped me a little bit.

For some information, this ultra shortcut only saves time for a single lap (flap) because this shortcut is not possible with inside drift vehicles, which are generally much faster vehicles, so I beat the old single lap record by 4 seconds, but I was over 6 seconds behind the 3 lap WR when I finished. There's also a smaller, much easier shortcut on this track that at the start which is useful for 3 lap records.

Q: Why Phantom?
A: The Phantom was discovered to have a more consistent setup for this glitch than any other bike, the Shooting Star is the fastest bike for this glitch, but it is a lot harder.

Q: Will you go for 3/3?
A: No. It took me months just to hit two glitches in a row, I could not imagine going for 3 in a row.

About the run:

So I started off a session of Rainbow Road glitch as I usually do, and during the session I clicked on a YT vid, and immediately after I make the glitch. As usual I'm happy I made the glitch, but I thought about how cool it was that I had a chance of getting the WR right now, which sounds dumb because I get these chances pretty often, but then I go for the second glitch and I MAKE IT.

This is where I made a small but funny mistake, I decided to quickly pause the video going off the ramp after glitch (I accidentally pressed space twice so it just unpaused afterwards lol) and I land at a bad angle because I wasn't focused enough on the run, so I lost ~200ms there. Btw, I didn't even look at my lap 2 time.

On lap 3, I went for the risky kart moonjump strat, which I planned to do months in advance. It seems like a really huge risk, but I couldn't have gotten WR without it and this was a really rare opportunity. It payed off, and although I did not know what pace I was on exactly, I did know I was well ahead of the WR. I knew if I closed it out I'd end up with WR in my hands. I was less nervous than I expected to be, and I drove decently for the circumstances. I didn't take any risks past the kart moonjump.

This is the end result, I'm now a multi WR holder and honestly I don't know how to feel, but I'm pretty happy.

MKW Core 2023-10-04 | Set on November 3rd, 2019. I decided to reupload this run in high quality, my old video was just a bad camera recording.

This was 9th worldwide when it was set, but now it's over 0.350 seconds slower than tops. This run is one of my only PB's from 2019 that is still standing, and I don't think I'll ever improve this. I'd have to relearn how to use the Wii wheel as well as relearning the Sam strat/triple glitch. And yes, Wii wheel is required if you want to play this track at a high level (if it wasn't, then this would probably be in my top 3 favourite categories in the game.)

My motivation for going for WR here came from when I got bored and played rBC glitch, not knowing what else to play. I unexpectedly had a really close attempt and decided to keep going. After practising in Dolphin, I realised I had WR potential. I grinded for 9 days to finally get this time. This is probably my single best achievement in gaming, I'm so glad I managed to get one more WR, and especially by beating a world record that lasted for over 1,000 days which was considered really strong.

{RUN REVIEW}
Lap 1, the glitch lap is a FLAP WR by over one second, I implemented the faster respawn strat and had a decently fast alignment.
Lap 2 was driven very well for a glitch run. There's no real mistakes in it so the only timesave could be slightly more optimal driving.
Lap 3 was mostly the same as lap 2, but at the turn after the staircase I had to brake to avoid the offroad, which was the biggest timeloss of the run and set me only a bit ahead of the WR.

Shout out to Logan for holding the previous WR here, and congratulating me when I set this run!

Q&A:
Q: Will you go for more?
A: No, unless I get beaten by a small amount, then I might come back.

Q: How many successful glitches have you pulled off?
A: Three, I've also gotten a total of 48 clips off the pole, including my three successes.

Q: Why don't you trick off the last ramp on lap 2 and 3?
A: It's safer and basically as fast to just wheelie off it and you also don't risk bounces. I still trick there on lap 1 because it's not as fast after respawning after the glitch.

Q: Did you set this time with the Wii Wheel?
A: No, when I imported the ghost into Dolphin, I TAS coded (copied) it so I could have it show up on the rankings page, and I had a code on that shows your saved ghosts to be done with the Wii Wheel. I actually used the regular Classic Controller.

Q: Why does the Mii keep changing?
A: Basically a similar reason to the question above. I recorded the run on a different license, with a different mii than the actual ghost. The Mii names also don't mean anything. Jello 2024 is just a silly mii I used to submit for a competition. (basically, recording runs in high quality can be complicated)

[SMM1] Pit of Panga: P-Break COMPLETED [0.02% clear rate]

MKW Core 2023-09-04 | After 4 and a half years, I finally have a new hardest level beaten (including both mario maker games), and it's the level I've always wanted to beat ever since I got good at kaizo levels. You're probably wondering why I decided to beat this when SMM2 has long been out, so here's why.

I decided to go and watch some of the earliest hardest mario maker levels, such as P-Break and U-Break, and I started to get hooked on those levels again. I hadn't played SMM 1 or 2 in a long time, but it made me want to order an SMM1 disk specifically so I could play P-Break. (I got one for £6 LOL)

Here's what my journey to beat this level was like. I got decent progress back in early 2019, getting to the second section several times, but I eventually stopped playing the game entirely and didn't return to mario maker until I got my SMM2 copy. Fast forward 4 and a half years and I got a new SMM1 disk. I started to get some good runs in practice, like doing the second to the end multiple times. I had quite a few issues tho, the level is weirdly made and jank (which makes sense because of how old it is) so my consistency would go from taking forever to passing the first part, to passing it every couple of minutes.

After I made it to the third section for the first time, I wanted to quit because I was getting annoyed and my hands were destroyed from playing with the WiiU gamepad constantly. I started to get really consistent however, so I decided not to quit. I started getting to the 3rd section quite a lot.

Today, I was possibly at the peak of my consistency and made it to the third section several times, as well as reaching the second section frequently. About 40 minutes before I cleared it, I failed the last trick of the level by failing to time the spin jump off the p switch. After 5 days of playing this level every day, I finally completed this iconic level :DDD

By the way, the parts get easier as they progress. The first part is extremely awkward and is a lot harder than it looks. The rest of the parts are more manageable, but the second part is still much harder than the last two. 85% of the level's difficulty comes from the first two parts, they're much harder and longer than the last two.

I might start playing Mario Maker 2 again because it's a lot more fun, but it's nice to mess around with the SMM1 physics and mechanics that were removed from the second game.

Also I just wanna say, I was really lucky to make it out alive at the second section. Usually whenever I kick the big beetle to the left it screws me up.

[MKW CR] GCN DK Mountain (Glitch) - 2:01.397 {4th European}

Hey guys, I set a PB for the first time since March of this year, and it's a pretty solid one. It's also a very special PB because I set this at a Mario kart Wii LAN event in Germany, with Enzo and Luckerbtw sitting to the right of me, as well as several other great players who were in the same room.

This was the first day that I had properly played the game in months, and the monitor I was playing on had noticeably more delay than I was used to.

Despite those factors, I got several 2/3 glitch runs, a low 2:00 pace, as well as two other 3/3 glitch runs before I clutched this run out. This is the run I've always wanted and I'm glad I finally managed to do it, especially since the circumstances made this super unexpected.

Of course, since it's DK Mountain, the laps of this PB are inconsistent.
Lap 1 wasn't anything special, but it's a fine lap. Lap 2 was bad and the slowest lap of the run, probably because I somewhat messed up the recovery. Lap 3 on the other hand was super clutch and carried the run, 40.0 laps aren't common for me, so it's crazy how I pulled it off on lap 3 while already being far ahead of my PB.

By the way, the LAN event was one of the best experiences of my life. I'm very glad I got to meet so many awesome people :))

The Rainbow Road glitch PB that I never uploaded

MKW Core 2023-07-17 | I set this run on the 1st of January this year and the new strat was found before I posted a video of it. It was ranked 2nd WW and european record when I set it and to this day this is one of my best achievements in mkwii and it's definitely worthy of a public upload.

For the record, I actually think the quacker method of this glitch is harder than rBC.

[MKW PB] SNES Ghost Valley 2 (Glitch) - 52.489 {9th European}

Sorry for no uploads on this channel lately, I've been really lazy and I didn't want to record runs. This is the last of all my regional top 10 runs that I needed to upload. Chances are I won't be uploading anything significant here for a while since I've been out of the game for a couple months.

For the run itself, it's just what I wanted, which was to beat Thomas' time of 52.502, and I did it barely. This category was one I didn't think I'd get regional tops on, but after improving at this track, I did it in one day. Technically I took a couple days longer, but I played no glitch almost exclusively beforehand.

I don't think I'll try to beat this even when it gets bumped off regional tops. Not only does the glitch feel very luck based but you have to drive very well after to get a good time. If I do beat this, it would be with the double wallclip, but don't get your hopes up because I'm probably never going to try that :DDD

I also messed around with the quality and tried to make it so it looks like it was recorded on console. I'm not gonna do this every time because Shotcut is STUPID and won't let me save presets.

Next time I feel like playing this game again it's gonna be coconut mall glitch since I was bumped off the top 10 and I want back on NOW (not really, I can wait :msfrog:). I'm not sure if I'll attempt the new entry tho because it KINDA sucks.

I'm probably gonna get bullied for making this but I just had to.

This was my third 3/3 of the day, the first two ones died on the lap 3 recovery.

I'll probably go for more, this run shows the potential I have, and what I could achieve, if it weren't for that horrible lap 2 recovery, this would have nearly been European record.

Also, I improved my Rainbow Road Glitch run to 2:02.307, but I might not upload it because I want to improve it.
