Cloud RO claims a 1:1 pure-to-drain ratio, meaning one gallon of wastewater for every gallon of purified water. I tested that claim using both small and large water draws.
The small draw measured 0.75:1 with a 42.86% recovery rate. On the larger 64-ounce draw, the ratio improved to 0.97:1 with a 49.23% recovery rate — almost exactly 1:1.
