I uploaded a really cool art level by 2 of this level's creators about a year ago, which is "Hubert Jenkins" by BoBoBoBoBoBoBo and Kyhros. However, while every part looked really good, they didn't have much in relation to each other, making the level a bit incohesive overall. That has been solved here, featuring parts that focus entirely on this titular citadel as seen by all the architecture, clouds, and nature. The art style and colors are very pleasant, which is suitable for the theme and helps the atmosphere along. While the style is consistent, the actual motifs are varied from part to part, keeping it interesting throughout. It's worth mentioning that BoBoBoBoBoBoBo made almost the entirety of the level, while Kyhros made the part at 0:45 and BySelling made the transition into that.
The level was also verified by BoBoBoBoBoBoBo, which is fun to see. It's not too often creators make and verify Extreme Demons themselves. This does give the creator much more control over all aspects of the level, including gameplay, difficulty, and the balance of everything put together. These things may be changed during verification by players who didn't contribute to the level, which may change the original vision somewhat. With that being said, it remains to be seen what players think about the enjoyability. Without any major issues, though, I think this deserves an Epic Extreme Demon rating.

Lots of people have been requesting that I showcase this NCS Gauntlet Contest entry, and I can see why after beating it. Its quite different from the ones Ive uploaded so far stylistically and in its inclusion of a bossfight. As always, I wont give any constructive feedback here since the deadline is still a month away. However, I will say that its been really fun to see what NCS songs creator choose and what approach they take for the level to fit the song. Im sure there will be plenty more cool entries to come in the remaining month. We will soon begin judging the entries, which will probably be challenging due to the amount of entries, and especially the amount of good ones, but it will be exciting to see how it all turns out.

Vernam asked me about verifying their upcoming Easy Demon about 6 months ago, and after Binary Life, I was very interested. cherryteam has been making high-quality projects consistently for a long while now, so its no surprise this is another great megacollab. With it running into 2.2 a bit, theyve also introduced some new features, and particularly shader effects. This is most noticeable at 0:21. Outside of that, this is mostly a 2.1 project. Its got a couple creators Ive uploaded multiple levels by, as well as some new names, which is always fun to see in such a cool project. Every part incorporates some art, on top of the unique color scheme, making the whole level cohesive. I really like the sense of depth created by the numerous layers in the background and foreground moving at different speeds.
The gameplay is also quite fun, with every part being clear and intuitive to play. Id only recommend a practice run to get used to a couple of the transitions at the climax, which have some quick gameplay. All in all, this is another sweet megacollab by cherryteam, and itll be fun to see their full 2.2 projects. With 2.2s optimizations, a lot more people will be able to enjoy big megacollabs, like cherryteams, in-game themselves rather than just on video.
