When Karin Russo died of cancer in 2024, she left behind her trailer and estate to her older sister, Vicki. Vicki and her husband, Ron Newell, then spent almost $10,000 on paying off Karin’s bills and cleaning up the trailer before selling it.

They hoped to recoup as much as they could from the estate to then give a portion to Karin’s granddaughter. They started the rebate process and hired a lawyer, and were told they would receive a check for almost $50,000.

But now, two years after Karin’s death, they haven’t seen a cent.
