EDIT: since I had lost the original voice actors for Rigel and Altair, I put them in this casting call- I feel really bad about this because I forgot to mention that when I made this- but I had managed to find the original VA’s a while after I posted this casting call so!!! That’s fun. Not a lot of people auditioned for those two so..but Rigel and Altair are officially CLOSED

i have been working on this story. FOR 7 YEARS. HELP
The script for ep.1 is done, I am currently trying to map out ep.2 (Jesus Christ- plotting, making a freaking CULTURE and character arcs are kinda difficult to plan out and write amdnfjwosnfngk)
(Also keep in mind imf really tired and I guarantee you I have made a lot of mistakes in the rules and stuff so I will just be pinning a comment and if y’all have any questions please ask them on THAT comment thread)

-deadline is July 6th! I would like for everyone’s entires to get in before then as this is when the casting call closes, only if I have enough entries will I keep it open (and I may re-upload this vid)
-anyone may join!!
****ALSO. Just a heads up before characters are casted- When I cast voice actors for the characters (if I were to pick you as the character) please be sure you are able to contact me,and keep me updated about the progress of your lines!! I don’t want to have radio silence and have me wondering when those lines are coming in. I’m saying this before I have even casted anyone (which is why I haven’t put my audition email here yet) so please keep this in mind!!
TL;DR - make sure you can commit time to this project, I just need to be able to contact you and get lines ASAP ****
-I prefer a clear mic, not a lot of background noise, and make sure not to clip the audio
-Make sure to emote well!!

Altair-
*(Angry, almost in disbelief) Your grief has led you to exaggerate everything. (He pauses for a couple seconds- he is still angry, but now he is sarcastic/mocking) And why would anyone come to a king in sorrow of your loss? What am I supposed to do? Bless your son with the gift of life?
*(slightly annoyed) I’m not breaking my ankles to climb down this tree, Amiaa. Just come up here.

Alder-
*(He is nervous) So many cats...Everyone’s looking at us as if we’re a curse. I don’t like it.
*(He’s nervous, again) I can’t! I can’t relax. There are going to be so many cats there..so many animals.. an entire CROWD! A crowd full of cats who hate hybrids. Can we go back to the cave?
*(wary) Aspen..if you’re gonna throw up..please do it away from me.

Rigel-
*(irritated) Your worrying is getting you NOWHERE. I suggest you stop being crazy and think straight for once. If that’s possible.
*(calm, sounds chill I guess/) There is a truce. All animals come together to celebrate the first day of spring. It's tradition.

*(sounds bored, slightly irritated) Father’s taking so long with whatever he’s doing outside, so I doubt we’re even GOING to go.
*(she’s not being sassy, she’s just trying to help someone out. However when she says “so shut up” she does sound slightly irritated) Yeah, I agree with you, For once. Just pretend we aren’t hybrids and we’re used to being out in the world. Lying to yourself works sometimes, I do it, and it helps me. So shut up.
