This MEP is available for ALL to join (as long as you follow the rules)!
The purpose of this MEP is to celebrate the arrival of a new year and a new decade. Everyone can contribute their ideas to this community MEP!
The previous FREE-FOR-ALL MEP (Animash Community Edition) had such a large response that I’m opening a second MEP to the “FREE-FOR-ALL” series! I also held a vote some time ago on the community tab of my channel and it seems that a lot of people were interested in making this into a continued series. So, here we are! :D
There is no sign-up for this MEP. If you would like to participate, just follow the rules below and get your part to me by the due date! There is no need to ask if you can join. I will be including all the parts I get! :)

RULES:
► Any editing program is allowed! This is a community project.
► Your mission is to do the following:
✔ Pick an UPBEAT song that inspires you to make a short video to (between 5 and 25 seconds). Focus the style around a celebration or party (sparkles, bright colors, flashes, dancing), and let’s go into 2020 with a bang!
► Any genre of song is allowed (instrumental, pop, jazz, rap, kpop, whatever inspires you)! Just make sure that it is upbeat and fun to celebrate the arrival of the new year and a new decade!
► Please go to this link and make sure your song choice has playback that is viewable worldwide. If not, please choose a different song so that I can upload everyone’s parts together and have it not be blocked anywhere!

► Please note that if you choose a song that has copyright issues which results in it being blocked in a large number of countries, I will use YouTube’s tools to mute the audio associated with your part. That way the rest of the MEP can be viewed uninterrupted. This became an issue with the last MEP when one of the copyright holders changed their usage policy on a song months after the original MEP upload date. Unfortunately policies can change even if songs were once viewable worldwide. I will use my best judgement to make sure that everything goes smoothly and the MEP will remain viewable!
► Your part should be between 5 and 25 seconds long.
► Media you can use:
✔ Common animash content (The Lion King, Spirit, Bambi, Tarzan, HTTYD, etc.)
✔ Less common animash content (Felidae, Leafie, Jungledyret, Khumba, Sinbad, etc.)
✔ Animes (both human and animal-based)
✔ Studio Ghibli movies (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, etc.) - but limit your use of these, they often have copyright issues!
✔ Animated TV Shows (The Lion Guard, MLP, Avatar: The Last Airbender, etc.)
✔ Some video game content (Okami, Zelda, Spyro, etc.)
✔ Ask for other content or if you are unsure ♥
► Media NOT allowed:
✘ Live action
✘ Most human-based video games, except those above
✘ Ask about content if you are unsure ♥
► The theme should be fun and upbeat! No depressing submissions please!
► Voiceovers are allowed if you want to do them (meaning that you incorporate movie quotes/audio with your song choice).
► Try not to have unregistered effect watermarks on your part (example: no NewBlueFX unregistered watermarks). Make it look nice!
► Watermark your part with your personal watermark if you want to, since I won’t be watermarking parts for this MEP.
► Render in 720p or 1080p HD, wmv or mp4 format.
► Send your part to me via sendspace or mediafire.
► If you want to upload your part to your personal YouTube account, you are allowed to do so at any time.
► IMPORTANT: If you don’t follow these rules, I may ask you to redo your part!!
► As of February 2nd, you can now submit multiple entries! You can submit up to 3 parts if you wish to do so.
► The deadline for this MEP will now be February 15th, 2020 (extended from January 31st)! If you would like to participate, please make your part and send it to me by this date!
