Incredible Shark Sighting in Aberystwyth, Wales!
Filmed this week just off the coast near Aberystwyth Pier, this rare footage captures a porbeagle shark swimming close to shore. Often mistaken for a great white due to its similar shape and power, the porbeagle (Lamna nasus) is actually one of its closest living relatives.

These powerful predators are native to UK waters but rarely seen this close to the coastline. Porbeagles are critically endangered in the Northeast Atlantic, making sightings like this even more special.
