As a special Easter Gift to my fans, here is Lime Street Entertainment's most successful short film to date. It is called "Cloro Returns." This comedy was made for the 48 Hour Film Project Los Angeles in the Summer of 2023.
The film is based on the character created by Natalie D'Alacio. The previous film that Cloro appeared in, titled "Cloro," was made for the Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Project of 2022. That was was a sleeper hit and was voted the audience favorite in their group, and made the Best of Screening, where it secured 3 nomination, including Best Actress and Women Filmmaker of the Year. The Lime Street Company was impressed by the response the film got and by the film itself that by the next year, we decided to team up and bring the Cloro character back for a second time. "Cloro Returns" is not a direct sequel, but rather a stand alone spinoff film. It does not continue the story of the previous film, this is entirely different.
Made in collaboration with Starseed Productions, this film premiered last summer, and got the best response ever for a Lime Street Film, and achieved even better audience feedback than the first film and was even a bigger success with the judges. It became the first Lime Street Produced film to make the Best of Screening last summer, and it gathered 6 nominations (double the amount the first film got), including once again Best Actress and Woman Filmmaker of the year, making her the first actress to get nominated twice for playing the same character. Other nominations included Best Choreography, Best Use of the Line, Best Original Song (The Last Bangers), and the studios most proud nomination: Best Sound Design. This is only the third Lime Street Film to use the Dolby System for noise reduction, and was the most successful use of it. The fight sequence uses 5 layers of sound. Thankfully the judges noticed as it got nominated.

The film was written and produced by Natalie D'Alacio. She is also the lead actress. She created the Cloro character on stage for Second City. It is based on her Grandmother, whose loving memory tribute is posted at the end of the video. She passed away only one week after shooting this film. Lime Street does not own the character, so we have to get permission to use the Cloro character for this film, as all rights to the property is still owned by Starseed Productions.
