I hate disassembling all-in-one PCs. I also hate copying data to an intermediate drive which takes twice as long (or worse). In this video, I do a direct clone of a drive from one AiO to another via gigabit Ethernet and some Linux trickery.
A note moving forward: videos like these are not meant to be how-to or step-by-step guides; the processes for some of the things I do in my office are more complex than they might seem. This is just an entertaining and hopefully informative glimpse into one of the less common tasks I have to perform. I hope you enjoy it and learn something along the way, but I can't break this down into a tutorial very easily, especially since some of my custom software simply isn't available to the public (or isn't ready to use by the public where I make it available).
