MrGrunz | Clock Town to Snowhead Temple in under 3 Minutes (TAS) @MrGrunz | Uploaded May 2009 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
I actually only wanted to TAS the part until Mountain Village, but I felt like continuing the whole thing until Snowhead Temple and the result looks pretty cool.
I always tryed to figure out new and quicker strategys and here is what I figured out:
- You can get past the Ice Block leading to Mountain Village without any explosives or Seam Walking by using a Recoil Flip. The ice is you're source of damage
- A HISS in the pre-Mountain Village area looks badass and saves a lot of time
- You can bypass the first gap in the Snowball area with well timed Backflips. Also works without ISG
- A Superslide or HISS allows you to bypass the second gap really quickly without Goron Mask
- Hyper Infinite Supersliding makes the whole Lullaby Skip a lot easier and quicker. I also improved the part with the Snowballs a bit compared to my old TAS of the Lullaby Skip
Swordless told me, that he spend 3 weeks of work into the Lullaby skip from his old MM TAS, because it was ultra hard to do, especially the Superslide up the slope.
With HISS I needed 2 minutes to get up the slope :D
