A founding voice of conscious roots reggae, Clinton Fearon is known worldwide as an original member of The Gladiators — one of the most important Jamaican roots reggae groups of the 1970s and 1980s. As bassist, harmony singer, songwriter and lead vocalist on several classics, Clinton Fearon helped shape the sound and message of foundation reggae.
During his visit to Irie Ites Studio in spring 2026, we had the privilege to record this exclusive dubplate version of “Richman Poorman” on the original riddim.
