This was the beginning of a 7 year journey to very deeply understanding my parents business. And understanding how to manage through some adverse times.
I pushed them to sell a handful of properties so that they could take some of the pressure off. And get some of the risk off. Which ultimately led us to, when we got out of bankruptcy...
Not only had I paid off all of my Mother’s properties. And she was out of bankruptcy, but I paid off all of my Dad’s properties. So they ended up with a debt free portfolio.
