Spring marks the beginning of the summit season in Iceland. Together with a small team of friends, we climbed to Iceland's highest peak, Hvannadalshnúkur.

With excellent snow conditions, we chose a lesser traveled route to the summit via Virkisjökull and Hvannadalshryggur.
