Books of Amber | Climbing Cader Idris, Hafren Forest, and the Source of the Severn Walk || Wales Travel Vlog #2 @BooksofAmber | Uploaded October 2022 | Updated October 2024, 10 minutes ago.
Here is the second and final part of my Wales travel vlog! On day two we climbed Cader Idris, and it was a struggle. It was about a six hour round trip and by the end we were exhausted. It was worth it for the views though! On day three, just before we had to head home, we went to Hafren Forest and did the Source of the Severn trail. This took us up by the river, through the woods, past a waterfall, and to the top of a ridge where the River Severn starts. If you walk just a little bit further you can also see the sea and the mountains of south Snowdonia... probably also Cader Idris!
