Sometimes, I have a bit of a harder time figuring out alternative recommendations for a new shoe I’m testing. So I’ll split up a run into smaller chunks so I can run in a shoe on the same day, under the same conditions, and while I’m feeling about the same throughout the day.
On this particular day, I took out the Clifton 10, the Clifton 9, the 880v14, and the Nucleo 2 for two mile loops, each. Sometimes, my memory serves me just fine and the additional testing wasn’t all that necessary. Other times, the testing ends up being useful, and it prevents me from making a recommendation that doesn’t actually make sense. The 880 ended up being nothing like a Clifton 10, and so I had to pick a different alternative to suggest in the review.
.
Disclosures: some of the shoes in this video, I bought myself. Some were sent to me. No one paid me to make this video or to include their brand in this video. No one previewed this before it published. No brands are tagged. No hashtags used.
