A Simple Mountain House Build to inspire you to live in the Higher elevations of the caves and cliffs update. You can really make any shape carved out of the cliffside that you want just make sure to outline it with a nice accent block such as dark oak wood, and then fill the interior with whatever room designs you need such as a library, enchanting room, bedroom, storage room etcetera. Well I definitely didnt make it under the twelve hour mark...
This small farm project took much longer than I anticipated lol. But I think overall this is a massive step forward for the longplay world. I now have a solid source of peaceful/passive xp (farming is amazing). Going on to future projects I will now be able to easily access wool for beds and banners, and with the latest info from Mojang STAIRS and SLABS!!!! Excited to finish the farm, and excited to continue the city, we shall see what I get up to next.
I highly recommend trying to design things from real world references over trying to take inspiration from other Minecraft builds directly, It definitely works on those creative muscles that youll need to develop if you want to get better at building. and trust me, Ive got a LONG way to go!
Distant world LODs and world map were pregenerated in a copy of the world and then that map/LODs were transferred over to the main save. This way I can see incredibly far with Voxy and Xaeros worldmap without having the bloated file storage of all of those unvisted chunks! (and even better I didnt have to visit any of those chunks!)
