Landon Dirnberger crashed into Camelback Mountain in Arizona (USA). Upon opening his parachute, Landon had an off-heading opening that twisted him back into the cliff with a lot of force.

Landon attempted to minimize impact by using his feet to break this inevitable crash, after which Landon's parachute partially collapsed leaving him in a high speed fall towards the ground. He impacted a second time on the talus of the cliff.

Landon was rescued by Search & Rescue.

Landon sustained a serious foot injury. He has since undergone surgery and is making a recovery.
