I can't say for certain but I'm convinced this prime slice of psychedelic folk-rock from Cletus is a tribute to the band Love. It starts with the lyrics "everywhere on the radio hear the songs of Love" and there is something quite Arthur Lee-ish about his delivery. The song also has that bands distinctive, baroque time-change moments. Regardless of that, it's a wonderful song among Cletus' constantly inventive and eclectic discography. He's still making music today too : )
