In this short video, I review the cleaning and pressing of a copy of Iron Man 55. The difference in this book's cleaning process is that I did not use a mask and I used only a very minimal amount of 6% peroxide. just two squirts from my squirt bottle which is about 3ml per squirt. It did not cover the book entirely so had to be evened out.

Here is the process

1) wipe with immacuclean and a makeup pad

2) Wipe with DI water and a makeup pad

3) Spray with 6% Peroxide which was made more uniform with a Kim wipe cloth (instead of spraying additional peroxide). This was necessary because a small amount of peroxide is a myriad of nearly microscopic dots if isn't wiped and spread more evenly.

why a Kim wipe and not a makeup pad? Kimwipes are not as absorbent and they do not leave lint on the book.

4) Place Immaculight Box over the book.

soak in light for 2 hours

5) Press the book at 165F and 55lb for 600 seconds.

6) follow with a cold press for 4 days - I used the plaid boards because they do not require and extra weight and they look cool.
