When Full Lock Drift announced the first-ever drift event at this track, Zach and I made sure to come and test our tandem skills! We were also able to drift with buddies from Tulsa, assembling some of the cleanest drift cars in Oklahoma (along with some of the gnarliest beaters!)
This video includes the usual onboard footage, three-car tandems, tech tips on left foot braking, car talk, and some pretty rad footage of our fellow drivers using a new budget camera rig I'm building! The new rig will feature a monopod, gimbal, and new camera (eventually). External footage from my old iPhone 5S (oldskool) but in the next month or two I'll replace it with a 7+ which will deliver 1080P60 as good as my GoPros but with much better handling.
JRP Speedway is a 0.4 mile asphalt road course for karting located in Tulsa, OK. Featuring elevation changes, numerous curves and a sweet banked Daytona-style turn, the speedway is built on a rolling hill so the fun part is downhill while the main straight runs uphill.
As always, thank you for watching, pounding the like button and subscribing. Leave me a comment and let me know what your favorite car was!
