Roll Technique is a free video lesson for classical guitar by Peter Vogl. When fingerpicking a guitarist often plays the notes of a chord either at once or as an arpeggio. The roll technique finds a middle ground where the notes are played rapidly in succession. In this video Peter will teach you two different ways to play a roll. Playing a roll allows you to add emphasis to a specific note within the chord.
