Classic Lotus Grand Prix — Lotus 79 racing on iRacing, every Sunday.

The Lotus 79 is among the most graceful cars ever built, and among the most successful. The first fully realised ground-effect Formula One car, it carried Mario Andretti to the 1978 World Drivers' Championship and Lotus to the Constructors' title, taking six wins across the season between Andretti and Ronnie Peterson.

The series runs on top of the official Lotus 79 iRacing series and recreates the racing of the late seventies and early eighties. Drivers run period race paints supplied by the CTC community — not a league or a restricted group, just a grid making the most of the car.
