Classic+ was supposed to be about preserving the soul of Classic WoW — not rewriting it. In this video, I share my honest thoughts on Blizzard’s direction with Classic+, why it fundamentally misunderstands what made Classic special, and why so many long-time players feel ignored yet again.
This isn’t about hating change. It’s about respecting the community that kept Classic alive when Blizzard walked away from it. Classic thrived because of its identity, its limitations, and the shared values of the players who loved it. Classic+ risks throwing all of that away in favor of vague promises, retail-style design creep, and a vision that was never what the community asked for.
