Arriving to an air show can be a tricky ordeal with very congested airspace and sometimes hundreds of pilots competing for the same runway. Transitioning airspace near busy airports with flight following adds to your safety, but as you will see in this video, you run the risk of being dumped by ATC with little help from anyone else. It's always an adventure! I highly recommend anyone thinking about going to an air show or fly in, but thinks it might be a little scary, just go for it! ATC is out there to help you.
