During their second to last week, cadets & laterals went through their initial taser training, which included the option to experience being tasered. This training not only includes a “standard” successful taser deployment, but also demonstrates the different variations which can occur during a taser deployment. Tasers are an important less-lethal tool troopers can use to help de-escalate a situation & bring it to a safer conclusion for all involved. #ArizonaStateTrooperAcademy
