Clarice Assad | The Last Song

Ever since I was a young kid, I've always enjoyed listening to music by the wonderful Assad family, including the iconic recordings of the Assad Brothers, as well as the daughter of Sergio Assad, Clarice Assad's music.
I first got to know of her through the iconic recording of her piece "Bluezilian" by the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet in their album "Brazil". I couldn't stop listening to Bluezilian and I was immediately hooked by her musical style, so I was absolutely thrilled to record this arrangement of her piece, The Last Song. I actually recorded all the parts for Bluezilian for a YouTube video years ago when I was 12, which was how Clarice and I got in touch! youtu.be/PDTZCEoJFd0
