LONG DESCRIPTION FTW WEEEEE~
So it's been a while since my last personal upload, and today I present to you Nagisa Warm Piano Arrange! How else would we celebrate Christmas eve as well as Nagisa's birthday? :D
I actually had this prepared for a while, and I wanted to upload it as universally close to Christmas eve as possible. You know, with time differences and all :3 Anyway, there's actually a huge backstory as to my preparation for this song... For those not interested, feel free to skip the next section~

I first attempted this song over 4 years ago, before I quit the piano, and I could not play this song properly for the LIFE of me D: It took me forever to learn just one bar, and even then I just couldn't memorize it. Simply, this piece was just out of my level...
After some time on YouTube, I started to notice some improvement in my piano abilities. Christmas was coming up, and I had just finished rewatching Clannad, so I figured I would give this piece another try. I had found what I considered a "perfect" transcription, so I decided not to transcribe it myself, nor did I decide to alter any of the notes given to me.
I started learning this piece of October of 2013, thinking I would hit the same wall I did 4 years ago... I already knew I wanted to perform this piece as a Christmas special, and I wanted to give myself enough time to perform this piece with justice. It surprisingly only took me about 4 days to memorize this piece, and a few more on top of that to play it up to speed, which -really- surprised me. I felt confident, so I decided to work on some other songs in the meantime... (i.e. Sister's Noise, Beyond the Sky). In this time, I -COMPLETELY- forgot how to play Nagisa Warm Piano Arrange...
By the time December rolled around, school got extremely busy with exams and whatnot. When I realized it was already December, I noticed I only had 10 days remaining to record Beyond the Sky as well as this piece. It took me much longer than expected to get a solid recording for Beyond the Sky, I had 2 days remaining to relearn this piece from scratch... I've never felt such time pressure before.
Why the time limitation? Well, JoyDreamer was going to arrive in Canada about a week before I wanted to upload this, and no way in hell would I have a recording session while she's here and waste any time we could have spent together :3
So while this recording is not perfect, I tried my best and did not give up until the -very- last moment. I think I finished recording at 5am the morning she was arriving... The effort was totally worth it.

In any case... This video is in dedication to JoyDreamer! She has been such a sweetheart to me, and well... Now she's my girlfriend ^///^. We actually just finished watching this anime together hehe (It was Joy's first time watching this anime! :DDD). Joy, thank you so much for everything. For all of the support and friendship you've given me, to coming all the way to Canada just to meet with me. It really means just so much, I could burst into tears if I think about it too much ;_; BUT! I'll just appreciate the little time that we have together. :3 Joy, just know this: I love you :3

In addition, after this upload I will be going into a little hiatus. I realized that apart from school assignment bombardment, I haven't really taken a break from piano or transcribing. I think I could use a little break to refresh myself, as this recording was quite difficult for my level of piano. I hope everyone understands! :,D
