Defense attorney Kevin Reddington said, “I know I’ve done my best,” when asked how he feels he’s done representing Lindsay Clancy as he walked into Plymouth Trial Court Thursday morning.
The prosecution and defense are set to give their closing arguments in the case this morning. The judge said yesterday they would each be allowed an hour.
The prosecution has argued Clancy is criminally responsible for killing her three children and has tried to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that she retained the substantial capacity to appreciate the wrongfulness or criminality of her conduct and conform her conduct to the law.
Reddington has made the case she suffered a psychotic break after suffering for months with severe postpartum depression and that she should be found not guilty by reason of a lack of criminal responsibility.
