The resilient injection-molded right-angle pads keep your workpiece isolated from both the bar and the clamp head. Clamp-Pals work with 1/2" and 3/4" pipe clamps as well as parallel jaw clamps. Just drop Clamp-Pals on the edge of your stock and clamp with confidence. Clamp-Pals protect your project in three ways. They provide a barrier between your workpiece and the pipe or bar…so no rust, scale, or mill varnish can stain it. The opposing side provides a smooth clamping surface that won't deform the wood like a cast iron clamp head can. And, the hollow recess in the corner of each Clamp-Pal prevents damage to delicate miters and carefully machined edges
