Cadence Weapon has just released the Deluxe Edition of his much-acclaimed 2024 album ROLLERCOASTER, and he's back in his old home province of Alberta in autumn 2024 as part of a big cross-Canada tour with Super Duty Tough Work, performing November 9th at the Starlite Room in Edmonton, and at Calgary's Commonwealth on November 10th.
The Polaris Music Prize winner and one-time Edmonton Poet Laureate also stopped in for a special live performance session at CKUA! Check out Cadence Weapon with an intimate in-studio performance of three songs from ROLLERCOASTER — "Sting", "Lexicon", and "Exceptional" — as well as in conversation about his ever-expanding universe of projects, family, roots, authenticity, and how his latest album was partly inspired by a fake designer jacket.
