Civilization VII is developed by Firaxis Games, the famous studio behind the series, known for its expertise with strategy games. Built on an updated version of the in-house Civilization engine, the game supports both DirectX 12 and Vulkan. You also get support for AMD FSR 3 upscaling, FSR 1 upscaling and XeSS. Curiously there is no support for any NVIDIA technology—no DLSS, and no frame generation at all. What's also missing is support for ray tracing. Does that mean it's playable on more hardware?
