Gary, Amanda, and efilists in general aren't interested in good faith engagement. They fight a war of attrition with egregiously malicious abuse. This is what they mean by "arguing the argument". Their objective is making the cost of engagement intolerably high so people give up and walk away. Efilists claim this as victory.
