With the summer winding down, the City of Rochester Parks and Recreation Department has officially announced closing dates for local outdoor aquatics. Silver Lake Pool is closing first this Sunday, followed by Soldiers Field Aquatic Center on August 23. Luckily, local beaches and splash pads will remain open through Labor Day, Monday, September 7, to help families squeeze in a little more summer fun.
