EDIT 2025: After many years of looking way too much at this particular set of characters it's become incredibly obvious these characters do not have fire damage. No record of a fire could ever be found, and the only claim came from a quick conversation with an employee. If these characters were in a fire there would be no fabric left on them, especially Starvin Marvin (the clown). Ellie's eyebrows and little umbrella would also not be intact. After having to deal with the aftermath of the urethane used on AVG's characters (which, for those unaware, turned back to liquid at some point due to a chemical imbalance) firsthand, I can say that what you see on these characters is a combination of melted urethane mixed with dirt and dust and water damage. If I knew the impact on these characters this video would have I would have not let it be edited the way it is. This isn't a creepypasta or even remotely spooky, it's just a set of characters who were purchased by a salvage shop to use for display. There's no fire, there's no mystery (except for what location these came from and what remote island Batt E Bird is vacationing on), just a bunch of sad friends who've seen better days. Though I love them just the same.

A close up look at the only known (nearly) complete Circus Playhouse Band! Lionel is one of my favorite characters/animatronics and I was so amazed to see him in person, even though seeing him in this condition made me sad!! They are massive!
The owner claims they came from 'a pizza place that burned down' which would explain the amount of heat and water damage they appear to have. The faces (and in Ellie's case, her entire body) on these characters were made out of silicone, and all of it has turned to liquid, melting all over them. Lionel is tied to the rafters because his body turn cylinder has become disconnected, causing him to fall forward. I'm saddened that they will not be restored back to their original condition, but I'm glad they weren't destroyed. I feel like most people outside the animatronic hobby would see their condition and just scrap them.
