First of all, all credit to Ian Hubert for showcasing this technique in Blender with his "How To Animate Humans In Blender - Lazy Tutorial" video. I decided to do it in Cinema and i'll show you how to setup a very basic rig to re-pose and animate a 3D scanned human.

Obviously you can't make drastic adjustments since it's already posed but you can add subtle adjustments and movement to the character. Maybe add some life to those archviz scenes with 3d scanned humans.
