Ok so maybe it's not entirely lazy as it still requires a bit of work to setup. I want to show you an alternative method to adding 3D clouds into a 3D scene. The end result won't look as good as VDB clouds BUT this is still a really nice way to get some 2D imagery inside of your 3D workspace that takes advantage of the color and light being cast on the objects and onto the clouds. It can create a good base to work on if you're doing concept art.
