Went back to my first NL2 coaster and added a volcano, lava, flames, and a skybox.
I made the lift less steep cuz I thought it would look a little better, and thus had to modify the area between the brakes and station. But other than that, the trackwork is pretty much the same.
Just so it isn't a death (or even painful) coaster, the 'fire' in the tunnel at the end is a hologram projection, designed to mess with the riders' heads.

After having experienced Thunderhead this past summer (which became my favorite ride at Dollywood) and Mystic Timbers in 2021, Ive kinda sorta been in the mood for a while to make something that takes inspiration from both of those, but the hard part (and the majority of the reason this project took so long despite not being very elaborately themed) was trying to come up with a layout I felt satisfied with. While its normal for me to go thru multiple element sequences or partial layouts and figure out which one of those I like better, I think I did that even more than usual here (probably cuz its much easier to come up with a layout when I already have a signature element, interaction, or specific concept in mind as the main motivator while here the main motivator was pretty much I like GCI).
Anyway, this part twister, part out and back layout features not one but two station fly-bys through the wind damaged station, one going directly over the station gates and the other right over the exit side, and the numerous pops of airtime will have you out of your seat almost as much as in it. I wanted at one point to do 3 station fly-bys but its kinda difficut to do that without killing the pacing.

This was a spur of the moment project that came about simply because it was initially planned to be part of Frankencoaster 2 as a mash-up of T2/3 and Firehawk (minus the vertical loop wrapping around the kidney bean) but ultimately didnt make the cut due to it making the block section far longer than any of the other block sections, causing stacking mid-ride every cycle after the first. It would have come right after the Volcano the Blast Coaster section, with the first barrel roll transitioning seamlessly into the Firehawk sections lie-to-fly into the drop.

Inspired by a comment someone left on the Chang as a surf coaster video mentioning what if I made the almost exact layout but as a Mack spinner, hence some similar elements, such as the sideways airtime/giant corkscrew/dive loop combo but with an overall shorter and more compact layout. It features an inclined loop in lieu of a regular loop, as I figured that would be more likely to encourage spinning and thought it would look a little better.
Name and color scheme are inspired by that poorly received ride at one of the Sea World parks.
