Learn how to decorate these ruffled buttercream cupcakes for Cinco de Mayo! I did a Cinco de Mayo mini 3-tiered cake but HATED how the video turned out so I decided to do these cupcakes instead. The frosting was giving me fits and didn't hold it's shape well at all but you get the general idea. At the end you will see the mini cake I did and how much nicer the buttercream looks when the right consistency and done properly. Enjoy!
What you'll need:
cupcakes, flavor of your choice either box mix or from scratch
buttercream frosting (there are plenty of recipes online for this)
food coloring in assorted colors (I used red, yellow, orange and blue)
Wilton tip 104
piping bags or zip top baggies
threaded tip couplers
