This is a really cool level that I couldn’t beat on May 5th because I was busy with packing, but now I’m back and beating this level was super fun. The decoration is really awesome, and keeps a consistent Mexican theme throughout. The transitions between parts are clean as well, although a nitpick I have that applies to the whole level is the switch-ups in styles. Every single part looks really different (except for the first two, which are the only parts that I would say work perfectly together). Something that could have been done to solve this problem is, at the start of assigning parts, the hosts should have put similar creators near each other, like rafer and subwoofer. This would have made the level a bit more cohesive. Overall though, the decoration in this level is phenomenal, and there is’nt one part that I would say is bad on it’s own.
The gameplay of this level is really fun and super creative. It took a while to learn, but when I did that I beat it right away, no problem. There is only one bug that I came across in the level, but you only encounter it when you hold in the transition to the second part of the drop (groovy part) which isn’t necessary, so I would hardly even call it a bug. Anyways, I would recommend to play this if you haven’t beaten it yet.
Overall score: 9/10. With more cohesion this would get a perfect score. I love the wacky gameplay, some parts are all over the place but don’t feel messy, and the hosts of this level really did an awesome job.
